There is everything you need inside for long term food storage. I buy a lot of items in bulk, including various types of grain which I grind into flour. These bags will be very useful for storing those grains since they tend to come in 50 lb bags that are unwieldy and tend to get buggy on their own.\n\nI'm a little disappointed that the largest 5 gallon bags do not have gusseted bottoms. That would have made them far easier to use. I also wish they had a double zipper seal. They can be heat sealed, but the largest bags, which are also the most likely to break open due to the weight of their contents, are too wide to fit in my FoodSaver. I like to use these bags when storing coffee beans in the freezer, and for storing flour and pasta in the pantry. At 14 mil thickness (7 mil each side), these bags provide great protection. I used my hair straightener to seal the opening of the Mylar bag – it was quick and easy to do. This creates an extra layer of sealing in addition to the double zipper-type seal.\n\nThe package also includes sixty oxygen absorbers and 70 labels. Just because there are 60 oxygen absorbers included does NOT mean that you should use one in every bag – do some research, as not all foods should be used with an oxygen absorber. (You might actually cause some foods to clump if you use an oxygen absorber when one is not needed.) Also realize that oxygen absorber packets are not the same thing as silica gel packets = they are different products with different uses. This kit takes up a good amount of space, which may be an issue if space is tight.\n\nThe bags themselves are thick, have a nice appearance, and aren't easy to damage. The zip closures, however, are only a single zip and don't \"click\" as well as they should. For long-term, air-tight storage the zip alone isn't going to cut it. Fortunately, it looks like these are able to be heat-sealed - although I don't have a sealer, so I can't speak to how well they heat seal.\n\nThe kit comes with oxygen absorbers vacuum packed into tear off plastic wrapping. There is everything you need inside for long term food storage. I buy a lot of items in bulk, including various types of grain which I grind into flour. These bags will be very useful for storing those grains since they tend to come in 50 lb bags that are unwieldy and tend to get buggy on their own.\n\nI'm a little disappointed that the largest 5 gallon bags do not have gusseted bottoms. That would have made them far easier to use. I also wish they had a double zipper seal. They can be heat sealed, but the largest bags, which are also the most likely to break open due to the weight of their contents, are too wide to fit in my FoodSaver. I like to use these bags when storing coffee beans in the freezer, and for storing flour and pasta in the pantry. At 14 mil thickness (7 mil each side), these bags provide great protection. I used my hair straightener to seal the opening of the Mylar bag – it was quick and easy to do. This creates an extra layer of sealing in addition to the double zipper-type seal.\n\nThe package also includes sixty oxygen absorbers and 70 labels. Just because there are 60 oxygen absorbers included does NOT mean that you should use one in every bag – do some research, as not all foods should be used with an oxygen absorber. (You might actually cause some foods to clump if you use an oxygen absorber when one is not needed.) Also realize that oxygen absorber packets are not the same thing as silica gel packets = they are different products with different uses. The zip closures, however, are only a single zip and don't \"click\" as well as they should. For long-term, air-tight storage the zip alone isn't going to cut it. Fortunately, it looks like these are able to be heat-sealed - although I don't have a sealer, so I can't speak to how well they heat seal.\n\nThe kit comes with oxygen absorbers vacuum packed into tear off plastic wrapping.
